One of the greatest American car brands, Chevrolet’s Corvette sports car first rolled off the production line in 1953 with the C1 convertible. Since then, there’s been the Corvette Stingray in the ’60s and ’70s and the C4 in the ’80s (with its iconic pop-up lights). Following these, the C5 came in the ’90s and the ’C6 in the ’00s – as well as the ZR1 from 2009 onwards and the Grand Sport from 2010 onwards. The seventh generation model (the C7) was launched in 2014, with the aim to appeal to a ‘younger’ market. But, frankly, Corvettes are sure to always appeal – whether you’re young or old.
